Why Ecrox exists

Work on Ecrox Chain began in 2019 to tackle the speed and cost problems that held earlier blockchains back. Mainnet launched in September 2023 with DPoS consensus, EVM compatibility and a gas price of zero.

Today the chain supports exchanges, payments, banking, insurance, streaming, travel, shopping and games, all built so users can take part without paying a network fee each time.
