Ecrox Chain / Run a node

Run an Ecrox Chain node

Full and RPC nodes keep Ecrox Chain reachable for wallets, explorers and apps. Run your own for faster, private access to the network.

Node types

Full node

Stores the current chain state, validates every block and relays transactions to peers.

Service

RPC node

Serves JSON-RPC and WebSocket requests for your own apps, bots and indexers.

History

Archive node

Keeps full historical state for explorers, analytics and audits.

Set up

Step 1

Prepare a server

Use a Linux server with fast SSD storage, enough RAM and a stable connection.

Step 2

Secure it

Use SSH keys, a firewall, automatic security updates and least-privilege accounts.

Step 3

Install and sync

Install the Ecrox node software from the official documentation and sync the chain.

Step 4

Monitor

Track sync status, peers, disk use and latency, and apply upgrades on schedule.

Keep RPC and validator keys apart: Never expose a validator’s signing keys on a public RPC server, in a repository or in a support ticket.
